    Miles City Bucking Horse Sale

    Miles City, about 40 minutes west

    Bronc riding, the sale itself, a Main Street parade and a town that fills right up. Held every May since 1951.

    Terry Yippee

    Terry Central Park

    The town's summer get-together, with a barbecue and games in the park. The 2024 Yippee was July 26–27.

  3. Early August

    Prairie County Fair

    Prairie County Fairgrounds, 31 Fairgrounds Rd

    “The Biggest Little Fair in All of Eastern Montana”, at the county fairgrounds on the edge of town. The 2026 fair ran August 6–9.

    An evening celebrating the photographer who recorded ranch life around Terry, put on by Evelyn Cameron Heritage, Inc. The gala marked its 20th year in 2025.
